gosh, today was another tiring day
woke up at 6 to prepare going to TKPS for Mr Seelan's tribute. and i guiltily reached Katong Shopping Centre at almost 8. i'm the last person in my grp : Maytavee, LinChuch, TingChih and ShuaiCheng
however, the ceremony was delayed till 8.30, coz of some technical errors. it was touching to see so many of the secondary school students coming back. saw alots of people i know and i dont know.
very surprise to see Danial there too. and he still not stop BOO! me =.= pls grow up lah, i know u dont mind doing that but i mind when i kena the thing in the middle of evryone T^T
The hall gt air-con this year xp all the 05 (my year) ppl were moaning like siao of the unfairness between us and the current TKPians
Mr Njoo and Ms Quek were the MC for the event. Ms Quek was in a beautiful outfit, but mr njoo...-o- sport attire as usual, lol. so suitable for the occasion ^^
The teachers also played farewell music for Mr Seelan. call wat ah...aiya, nvm, i cant rmb the name :P it was nice touching and sweet. my eyes was brimming with tears, so did evryone else i believe....
but the most important part was when Ms Seelan went up the stage to say his speech. he didnt try to control his tears og joy and he was crying as he spoke : " we started as 0 in 2001. there are many gd schools in the east, and wat are there for us to compete? all the teachers work hard, and we emerger as one of the top schools, with totally diferent environment. when ppl ask me, wat's so gd abt ur school? i'll say that we have a different environment, the student here are multi-racial, there was no different between us all. when i saw the number of parents waiting outside the school gate under the scorching sun, jus to ensure that they are in time of registering their children into the school, i knew we had succeeded.......on n on..." (i cant remember) but that time my friends and i broke down T^T i talked to Mr Seelan on a few occasions when i was in TKPS, he was nice, loving and friendly towards all of us. and i think that's wat make evryone like him! it wasnt a surprise to see more than 80% of the teachers crying when they baded him farewell beside the stage....
